Seaman Corporation, a global coated fabric leader for over 55 years, introduces XR-Mariner, the next wave in inflatable boat fabric, a patent pending product.

Developed to outperform Hypalon®, XR-Mariner’s core technology has been used for inflatable rescue RIB boats for more than 15 years. Using a revolutionary coating formula crafted with DuPontTM Elvaloy®, a polymer recognized for its advanced long-term weathering properties, XR-Mariner was created exclusively for the marine industry, setting a new standard in boat fabric. This unique coating formula, coupled with Seaman’s high strength proprietary base fabric, results in a fabric with far superior UV, abrasion, tear and puncture resistance.

This fabric can be bonded using adhesives or welding equipment to save on fabrication time and to improve seam tightness.
